About the SK Triathlon:
The beach transition is the most challenging part of the course. The Swim to Bike and Bike to Run will have about 25 feet of loose sand to get through. Tip: Take small light steps and think about the great food waiting for you at the finish line!

Our race has never been wetsuit legal. The Gulf is around 80 degrees the first part of October.

Relays will have a designated place in the transition area. Only the person getting ready to start the next leg will be at the relay's assigned bike spot where teammates will hand over the chip.

We will have plenty of restroom facilities at the public beach and temporary port-o-lets.

Check the transition area map for race morning details.

Remember to bring your photo I.D. to packet pick-up at the expo or on race morning. USAT Rule!

Register early! We sold out last year. We do not have race morning registration. Register at the expo the day before if spots remain open.

All athletes will get a timing chip to wear around the ankle to record results. Don't forget to return your chip at the end of the race. Credit card accounts will be charged $25 for missing chips.
